This past weekend, several Government leaders hosted a PrayUSA Sunday event in local churches.  Pastor Jim Erwin from Bethel Gilead Community Church in Bronson, Michigan shared the pulpit with Michigan Senator, Mike Shirkey to discuss the movement of national and state leaders that are calling Americans to unceasing prayer as well as the challenges people of faith are facing.  Pastor Erwin played the PrayUSA three-minute video before inviting Senator Shirkey to the pulpit to give a sermon and read the Call to Prayer Proclamation to the congregation.

It was at this time that he called the church to come forward to sign the Proclamation. A total of 174 people stood up that day in Michigan to join nearly 10,000 Americans that have committed themselves to pray unceasingly for our nation.

This is just one instance where Government Leaders around the nation are calling for unceasing prayer; and thousands of citizens are answering.  Have you scheduled your PrayUSA Sunday yet?
